The recruitment process timeline can vary depending on many factors. On average recruitments take approximately six months from application date to hire.
Candidates may reapply one year after the date of their most recent application.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old to apply and there is no maximum age limit.

Experienced officers:
Don’t require OACP Certificate
Don’t complete the PREP Test
Combined LFI/ECI instead of 2 separate interviews
Final Interview & File Review are the same but then psych comes after this (with cadet, it is done at the same time as background)
Yes. Canadian Military Police officers or police officers with experience outside of Canada must apply through the regular cadet application process and meet the criteria in Section 43 of the Police Services Act of Ontario.
Yes. RCMP officers are NOT required to write the exemption exam.
